The Gunners’ away strip for 2025/26 has been leaked and all but confirmed following pictures of the shirt on sale in a store.
The kit uses a blue lightning bolt pattern, which is a nod to both the 1995/96 away kit and is a pattern that has featured on many recent Arsenal shirts, specifically away kits (see the 2020/21 away kit). The dark navy blue base is layered by a royal blue bolt and red Adidas stripes on the shoulders.
The blue zigzags face inward across the chest to form an inverted ‘V’ shape, giving the shirt more symmetry than previous kits with the lightning design. It’s certainly eye-catching.

Whilst the Arsenal home kit opts for the usual club badge, this away kit features the canon logo in white, along with the sponsor and Adidas logo, who Arsenal have been with since their split with Puma in 2019/20.
The new shirt is likely to be available in June/July, with Arsenal probably wanting to debut their kit in during their pre-season tour of Asia. Based on previous seasons, the third kit will then be released in August in time for the new season, although these dates are not confirmed by the club.
Arsenal officially unveiled their new home kit two weeks ago, using the shirt for the first time in their game against Newcastle United, in which they secured Champions League football. The Gunners wore this season’s black away kit for their final game of the season against Southampton, and the new shirt won’t be released until long afterwards.

It’s a creative and eye-catching design, with lots of layers of royal blue colouring. However, it does look a little too similar to away kits the club has had in previous years, specifically the 20/21 season, which featured a strikingly similar design.
It seems the release will closely follow the Newcastle United and Manchester City releases.
