Club World Cup: Did FIFA just leak the 2025-26 shirts of the competitors?
By Ollie Mitchell

There’s plenty to say about FIFA on any given day, and given we’re a magazine that cares about societal impact, we know all about this.

However, you don’t expect them to be the body that accidentally leaks the shirts of some of football’s global heavyweights – and yet, here we are.

In a promotional image shared on the FIFA Club World Cup Twitter account, a player from a number of competing teams can be seen wearing a racing suit with the team’s home shirt design on.

This includes Josko Gvardiol wearing the Manchester City shirt that was released last week, as reported by PlayStyles at the time.

However, some of the designs seem to confirm some leaks for unreleased kits.

Nicolo Barella of Inter Milan is seen at the front, wearing a design with unique-looking blue stripes from the leaked shirt for next year, seemingly confirming that this will indeed be released by Nike in the coming weeks.

In addition, Karim Adeyemi can be seen in a Borussia Dortmund-style kit, which bears a striking resemblance to their leaked shirt – which, it has now been confirmed, will feature the Vodafone logo for the first time, as they have been revealed as the club’s new main front-of-shirt sponsor.

We’ll hopefully see many new shirts on display – with the FIFA Club World Cup kicking off on the 15th of June, with a brand-new, expanded format with group stages.
